Happy Friday, friends!
For the first time in a while, we don’t have any plans this weekend, so this will be a relaxing weekend for sure!
Before this weekend begins, I’d like to take a moment to recap this past week. Let’s get started!
I had another round of great workouts this week, and I finished Dopey Challenge Training Week #2!
- Friday: 30 minutes on the elliptical at the gym and some leg exercises
- Saturday: 7 miles on the treadmill at the gym
- Sunday: Rest day!
- Monday: 30 minutes on the elliptical at the gym and some leg exercises
- Tuesday: 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym and some arm exercises
- Wednesday: 4 miles around the neighborhood
- Thursday: 3 miles on the treadmill at the gym and some arm exercises
I plan to do 30 minutes on the elliptical and some leg exercises at the gym today, 4 miles on the treadmill at the gym tomorrow, and then I will be taking a rest day on Sunday. I also plan to do some walking throughout the weekend to keep my legs moving.
This week, I want to focus my “experiences” recap on one special event.
As you may remember from a few weeks ago, my sister’s softball team won the PIAA 5A District Title. Last Friday, her team played for the PIAA 5A State Championship. My dad, stepmother, mom, husband, mother-in-law, and I took off work to go to Penn State to see my sister play. My grandparents were also able to make the trip to watch the game, which was so fun! Her team played very well – my sister had a 3-run homer – but they unfortunately came up short and placed 2nd.
I was so incredibly proud of my sister for this amazing accomplishment!
Yes…I’m still reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I read two more chapters this week, so I am almost finished! I hope to finish the book over the weekend and start Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this weekend.
After my sister’s game, we made a stop at Penn State’s creamery, and can I just say “YUM?!” I got the Caramel Peanut Cluster, and it was absolutely divine!
Anything Exciting Happening Next Week?
Like I previously mentioned, Steve and I do not have any plans this weekend, so we are excited to just be able to relax and take it easy this weekend. If we decide to do anything, I’ll be sure to share it with you guys next week!
It’s sure to be another fantastic weekend.
What are you most excited for this weekend?
